Consultancy & services

Writing

I write news, features and blogs for a wide range of publications and websites that include consumer, contract and trade press. I specialise in health and fitness, skiing and adventure travel, but journalism is about good research and my strong background in news helps me tackle any area.

As well as supplying a constant stream of ideas for the editors with whom

I work regularly, I am always looking to undertake new commissions.

Editing and proof-reading

I am website editor for Where to Ski and Snowboard, and have been a freelance sub editor at The Times, The Daily Telegraph and Daily Mail. I have worked as an editor for Raconteur Media and Racing Post Books.

Copywriting

I can produce tight, accurate and compelling copy for websites, promotional material and brochures. Clients have included EcoSki, Boots, Ski Solutions, Club Med, Audi, Land-Rover, More Than A Tour, Point Two, The Riding Club London, Immunall and Weight Management Systems.

Communications consultant

I have advised a variety of clients in the health, sport, charitable and governmental sectors on effective communications strategies from article placement to social media and PR campaigns. If you need help with a media campaign, building a website, moving into social media or just increasing your profile, please get in touch.

“Having worked with Abi recently on a few projects, you can see how her years of experience pays off

in the quality and style of corporate communications work she produces. Understanding the brief, making suggestions and pushing the boundaries are all done in an open, friendly and professional manner, making the experience a pleasure from start to finish.”
